Pyramid

Needed:

1 Deck of Cards

Plenty of Barley Pop

Object:

This is a bullshitting game. This is one of my favorite games since the best bullshitter wins.

Game Play:

Everyone must sit in a circle around a table. One person is the designated dealer. You must lay the cards out into a pyramid shape in the middle of the table. The top row has one card, the next row has two etc... Depending on the number of people the pyramid may be larger or smaller. You must however, have enough cards left so that every player gets 4 cards. To play the game the dealer flips over the first card. (starting from the bottom row which should have 6 or 7 cards in it) Since this is the first row, it is called row 1 (amazing eh). Now the bullshitting starts. If you have a card with the same number on it, or you want to lie and say you do then you may give away one drink. If the person believes you have the card they will drink one. If the person doesn't believe the person giving them the drink they say, "Bullshit". At that point the person giving away the drink must show them the card. If they have the card then the bullshitter has to drink two, otherwise the person who gave away the drinks must drink two. If you have more than one card, or you want to lie and say you do, then you simply tell the person to drink two. This implies that you have two of them. You must give them all to one person. You can not split doubles and triples. You keep flipping cards until all of the cards in the first row have been flipped. Once you get to the second row everything doubles. You give away 2 drinks instead of 1, unless you have a pair in which case you would give away 4. If you bullshit or get caught bullshitting it is worth 4. Each row you go higher you multiply the number of drinks by the row. Worst case scenario, if you had 7 rows and you had 3 of the last card, you could give away 21 drinks. If that happens you better know what you are doing if your going to bullshit them for 42.

Variations:

Reverse Pyramid. Same thing only you start at the top and work down. The last row can be a real bitch when you play this way.

Christmas Tree Pyramid. Same thing only you only put a couple of cards in the first couple rows.

Replacement Pyramid. If you show your card then you get to get a new card from the leftovers. You can't make the pyramid as big since you have to have cards left over.

Strategy:

You have to bullshit on the first row. You're much better off drinking a few extra on row one than not knowing what people have on row 7.

I always pick on one person for the first couple rows, normally the newcomer. If they are stupid enough not to bullshit then give them every card until they do. You would be amazed how many times they finally get pissed bullshit you, and you actually have the card.

My Analties: (Things that piss me off when playing)

I hate people that won't bullshit on the first row. It makes the rest of the game much harder.
